Information about Travel Grants for Students:

To apply for a grant, please write an informal letter to me and include a copy of your student ID. To be entitled to a grant it is also necessary to present a poster during the conference. The money will be disbursed as a refund during the conferece. You are encourged to apply.
 
Student members of the DMG (German Mineralogical Society) are eligible for additional travel support in the amount of DM 100.- by the DMG. For details click here.

The travel grants will basically cover all local costs. That means:

• Accomodation including very good breakfast October 3-8, 2000
  Depending on the availability, there are 6 single and 3 double rooms (separated beds).
  Be prepared to share a room with another colleague. If you would like to share your room with somebody you already know, please let me know.
• Conference fee (including course manual etc.)
• Lunches/ mixers
• Conference dinner
• DM 500.- to 800.- to cover part of the travel costs.
• Local bus transportation (8 tickets).
